The Power of Equanimity
IMS Online Mini Retreat
9:00 am - 2:00 pm ET
Equanimity isn’t indifference—it’s inner strength. It’s the calm at the center of the storm, the spaciousness that allows us to meet life’s beauty and pain with balance and clarity. In the Buddha’s teachings, equanimity is not only a protection for the heart—it’s a path to awakening itself, described as inseparable from Nibbāna (nirvāṇa).
In this nourishing retreat, we’ll explore how to cultivate this profound quality through guided teachings, silent practice, and time for reflection and inquiry. Together, we’ll learn to steady the heart—not by shutting down, but by opening wide. All are welcome.
