In “At Peace, Filled with Joy,” Zen teacher Cuong Lu draws on 57 verses from the “Dhammapada” to explore how suffering itself can become a path to insight, compassion, and joy. Rather than avoiding life's difficulties, he brings ancient Buddhist teachings into contemporary life through accessible commentary, reflective exercises, and practical applications.

The result is both a meditation companion and a guide to meeting difficult experiences with greater awareness, understanding, and peace.

Join us for a conversation with Cuong Lu about the book, followed by Q&A with participants.
