Awakening the Heart
Cultivating Compassion and Equanimity
Through natural and relaxed awareness, we train ourselves to recognize the habits of our minds and the ways we separate, distract, and isolate ourselves from the world. Practicing compassion and equanimity allows us to be present and connected, softening our hearts and clearly revealing the human experience. This approach helps us maintain balance as we navigate the challenges of our times.
This program was recorded live at the Insight Meditation Society during a six-day retreat. It contains 10 hours of pre-recorded content that includes guided meditations with instructions, brahmavihara practices, dharma talks, and chants. Designed for anyone wishing to embark on a self-paced retreat from anywhere, the program includes a structured schedule with periods of silent and walking meditation, along with tips for preparing for a meaningful retreat experience.
