This January, join IMS and Sharon Salzberg as we celebrate the paperback release of

Real Change, Mindfulness to Heal Ourselves and the World

To mark the occasion, the IMS Book Club will host a one-night-only event with Sharon to discuss her book, which provides a roadmap for engaging in challenging times with clarity, calm, and heartfulness.

In Real Change, Sharon teaches that meditation is not a replacement for taking action, but rather a way to practice generosity with ourselves and summon the courage to break through boundaries, reconnect to a movement that’s bigger than ourselves, and build energy to stay fully engaged with our lives. Consulting with veteran activists and social change agents in a variety of fields, Sharon collects and shares their wisdom and offers practical advice to foster transformation in ourselves and in society.

“Inspiring, loving and empowering. The perfect medicine for these difficult times.”—Jack Kornfield

This program will be recorded and made available for on-demand viewing after the live session. On-demand videos will be available for 90-days following the live event.
